Raghavan Iyer
A native of Bombay, India, Mr. Iyer earned a Bachelor's
Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Physics and Math from Bombay University. He also holds
a Diplome de Langue from L'Alliance Francaise de Bombay and taught French. In addition, he
is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and
Restaurant Management. He is also certified in Property Management and Maintenance and in
Engineering by the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Association. He
is an experienced restaurant owner and manager who has been operating an in-home catering
service in the Twin Cities for the past ten years. He has taught Indian cooking in many
area community centers as well as several local cooking schools and at the Kahler Hotel
Food Fest in Rochester, Minnesota.
