Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is one of India's most beloved celebrations. The holiday commemorates the positive energies in the universe. It is a time of happiness, love, forgiveness and thanksgiving.  In preparation for Diwali, homes in India are whitewashed, painted and decorated with lamps and flowers. Friends and family exchange gifts and give money to charity. It is time of gaiety.   This cooking class we will prepare typical Diwali foods and invoke happiness and prosperity for the coming year

A traditional Diwali Menu is a great vegetarian spread and needs to be experienced
